Walnut Plywood

Walnut Plywood is one of America's most widely known and valuable species. Walnut wood is moderately heavy, hard, and strong. The heartwood color ranges from light brown to chocolate brown and can include purplish overtones. Walnut sapwood is light brown in appearance and often steam treated in order to reduce the contrast.

Walnut plywood grows throughout the eastern United States in relatively low quantities. Walnut works easily, stains and finishes extremely well, and is often used in furniture and architectural products which highlight its particular grain pattern, color, and texture. All of our Walnut plywood is housed at Weber Plywood & Lumber in Orange County, CA.
